PGDM or the Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a postgraduate diploma course in the management field. This course comes up with a duration of 2 years offered by the Business schools in India. The aim of the PGDM course is to sharpen the managerial and leadership skills of the students so they can explore several career opportunities after the completion of PGDM. Besides this, it also polishes the overall personality traits of the students ranging from their ability to communicate, timely decisions taking to their problem-solving skills.

It is pondering as an equivalent degree to the MBA program. However, the PGDM course fee is higher as compared to the MBA programs offered by state and central universities. It is also present in the distance and part-time modes.
