About IPU CET 2021
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, offers admission to various UG & PG courses either on the basis of a national level entrance exam or IPU Common Entrance Test. To get admission in UG courses of IPU, candidates must have qualified 10+2, whereas, to get admission in most of the PG courses, candidates must be graduate.
IPU CET is a University Level entrance exam conducted for admission to around 45 courses offered by the Institute. However, admission to weekend programs is exempted from the IPU CET exam. Overall, the University offers around 24 UG courses, 50 PG degree & diploma courses, and 17 Ph.D. programs.

IPU CET Exam 2021 Eligibility Criteria

- Eligibility for Undergraduate Courses: At least 50% in aggregate in 10+2 standard in functional/core/elective English and compulsory subjects from a recognized board.
- Eligibility for Postgraduate Courses: At least 50% in aggregate in undergraduate level in a relevant discipline from a recognized institute.

- All the applicants have to have Indian citizenship.
Age Criteria
- UG Courses: Applicants are required to be between the ages of 18 and 21.
- PG Courses: Candidates applying for PG courses need to be between the ages of 21 and 35.
- Bachelor of Vocation: Candidates must be under the age of 45.

IPU CET Exam Application Process 2021
For filling the IPU CET Exam Application Form follow the steps given below:
Step 1: At the first visit the official website of IPU and there click on the “New Registration” option on the main page.
Step 2: Fill in all the general information. This step involves the filling of exam category, name of the applicant, mailing address, contact details, uploading of photo, signature, left-hand thumb impression.
Step 3: Give the qualification details of the applicant.
Step 4: Then read and re-check the declaration one final time. Move to the next page, where candidates can check their Login Id and password. Save and note them for future reference.
Step 5: After that, click on the button that says “apply for the course” on the page.
Step 6: Provide all the course details and check the payment details for the application form.
Step 7: Finally, pay the application fee using the online modes that are available on the website.

IPU CET 2021 Exam Pattern
IPU CET 2021 for all programs will be conducted in online mode. The exam pattern for every stream and course is different. The nature of questions in the exam is both objective and subjective which also differs. Given below are the highlights of the IPU CET Exam Pattern for different courses:
- Mode: Offline Pen and Paper Based.
- Number of Questions: 150 Questions (except for M.A English in which Part 1 shall consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions while Part 2 shall be essay-type questions).
Note: B.Tech. papers and 200 questions in the B.Tech Biotechnology paper.
- Duration of Exam: The Biotechnology paper is of 3 hours while other courses have 2 hours 30 minutes.
- Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted. DM, MCH, and SSMC exams have no negative marking. No marks will be deducted for unattempted answers not marked by the students. If the students have more than one answer (option), it will be considered incorrect.
- Total Marks: 600 marks (Except for MBBS, PGMC, and SSMC exam).

A2. The exam will consist of 150 objective-type questions in IPU CET, except for Bio-Technology courses, which have a total of 200 questions.
