About IIHM eCHAT 2021
The IIHM eCHAT examination is a National-level examination. It is organized by Edexcel and conducted by the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM). International Institute of Hotel Management is a hospitality and hotel management school. There are campuses in India at Kolkata, Goa, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur, and Hyderabad. Internationally, there are campuses in Bangkok and Samarkand. There are various student exchange programs and international projects that help the student grow and know more about different cultures. IIHM conducts Electronic Common Hotel Admission Test (eCHAT) every year to offer admissions to the candidates.

IIHM eCHAT Eligibility Criteria 2021
The eligibility criteria to apply for IIHM are as follows
- The candidate should be in belonging to the age group 17-22.
- Candidate should have cleared 12 grade or equivalent examination with minimum 50% aggregate.
- The candidate should have cleared 12 grade or equivalent examination with English as a core subject.
IIHM eCHAT Application Process
Candidates can apply for IIHM eCHAT 2021 via either online or offline mode. There is an application fee of Rs.600. The fee can be paid via cash, debit card, credit card, net banking, demand draft, or cheque. The cheque or demand draft should be in favor of 'International Institute of Hotel Management. The test will be conducted in different towns and cities. The candidate is free to choose a test center nearest to them.
Online Mode
Candidates can find the application form on the official website. The application form will only be available till a certain date. The dates will be announced by the Institute later on. The online registration will only activate if the candidate pays the application fee.
Offline Mode
Candidates can visit any of the IIHM campuses for application. The campus will provide the application form and aspirants are requested to fill them accordingly.
The application form will consist of the following details.

- Applicant’s name and surname
- Applicant’s sex- Male or Female
- Applicant’s date of birth
- Applicant’s place of birth
- Applicant’s status
- Applicant’s religion
- Applicant’s father’s Mobile variety
2. Contact Details
- Applicant’s permanent Address and Corresponding address with the PIN code.
- Applicant’s phone number with the STD code.
- Applicant’s Mobile variety
- Applicant’s Email ID.
3. Guardian’s Details:
- Name
- Occupation
- Address
- Contact number
- Email ID
4. Educational Details:
- Secondary School Certificate information
- Higher Secondary Certificate information
Once registered, the applicant will receive their Admit Card via email. Else, follow the following steps:
- Visit the official website of IIHM eCHAT
- Find and click on the eCHAT Admit Card link
- Fill in the User ID, password, and other details.
- The Admit Card will show up. Download and print out the Admit Card.
The Admit Card should be kept safe since it will be needed for future use. The Admit Card will contain the following details:
- Name of candidate
- Roll number
- Address of the allotted test center
- Time slot for IIHM eCHAT 2021
The applicant should double-check that the admit card contains the following details. If not, contact the IIHM admissions office which is available on the official website.
*The candidate WILL NOT be allowed to enter the test center without presenting the Admit Card*
IIHM eCHAT Examination Pattern and Marking Scheme 2021
The examination will consist of 50 questions. The candidate will be given 1 hour to complete the paper. There will be various types of questions. Such as:

Q1. How many sections are there in the IIHM eCHAT?
A1. There will be 5 sections-Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, and Awareness of Indian and Global Economy.
Q2. Can I apply after the given timeframe?
A2. No, you cannot apply after the last date. The Institute will provide enough time to apply and it is compulsory to apply within the timeframe.
Q3.Will I get to choose the campus of my choice?
A3. No, you cannot choose the campus according to your choice. If selected under the merit list, the campus will choose the candidates according to their scores.
