About IGNOU B.Ed 2021
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) B.Ed entrance exam is a national level entrance exam held across India. It is conducted by the National Test Agency (NTA). IGNOU is scheduled twice a year. This entrance exam offers admissions to the candidates in various B.Ed programs. Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Post Graduate Diplomas, and Degrees are offered by the university. Since this year, the exam is being conducted by NTA.
This entrance exam is organized into two parts: Generally, the first session in January and the second one in July. The exam is multiple choice questions-based and has 100 total questions. The duration of the entrance test is of 2 hours. Admissions into B.Ed will be offered through the scores scored in these IGNOU B.Ed entrance exams. The IGNOU B.Ed is a two-year bachelor's degree program. This graduation involves certain courses worth 84 credits. Each of these credits is equivalent to a total of 30 hours of lectures which consist of all the learning activities.

IGNOU B.Ed Eligibility 2021
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 50 percent marks. The Bachelor’s Degree and/or the Master’s Degree can be in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. The candidate may even hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology coupled with a specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks. One can even hold any such equivalent qualification to apply.
- Candidates who have passed grade 12th or equivalent from a recognized board.
- The candidates must have a complete BCA or graduate degree with mathematics at 10+2 level from any recognized university.
- PG Diploma in Rural Development from a recognized university is also eligible.
- Diploma in Tourism Studies/Diploma in Dairy Technology: Must have passed 12th standard or equivalent exam or BPP from IGNOU.
- MA (English/Economics/History), MSW can also apply those to hold a bachelor degree or any higher degree from any recognized university.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD categories will have a relaxation of 5% in the eligibility requirements for general candidates. Also, relaxations will be given to Kashmiri migrants and war widow candidates as per the rules of the university.

- Click on the link that shows the B.Ed Application Form
- Register on the website and note down the system generated application number.
- Fill in the online application form by entering all the required details.
- Upload required documents and photographs.
- Submit application and pay fees. The mode of payment for online payment of fees is a debit
card, credit card, net banking through a payment gateway.
- The online registration fee for the entrance exam is RS. 1000/- and the offline payment via demand draft/post is Rs. 1050/-
- A confirmation page will appear, take a printout for future use.
