About Gitam GAT Exam 2021

The GITAM Admission Test (GAT) is a university level entrance exam for students seeking admission to different undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at the three campuses of Gitam University, i.e., Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) University conducted the GAT exam every year to provide admission to the students in more than 100 programs offered at different campuses of GITAM University. GAT is a computer based online home proctored examination in which students required a computer, tablet, or mobile with an uninterrupted internet connection to give the test. Aspiring candidates must have to complete the exam within a given time duration of 1 hour to 2 hours.

GITAM GAT Exam Registration Process 2021

GITAM GAT Exam 2021 registration process commences on 04th January, 2021. Candidates who want to participate in the exam have to apply for the exam by filling the application form through the official website of the GITAM GAT. It is an online process that involves the following steps:

Step 1: Registration

Visit the official website of GITAM GAT 2021
Click on GAT 2021 Apply Now, which will redirect you to the application form of GAT 2021.
Now click Register and Fill all the required details.

Step 2: Fill GITAM GAT online application form 2021

Candidates have to Re-login the form using a unique GITAM GAT ID.
Fill all the details
Choose the subject of your preference with the campus.

Step 3: Upload Documents

Upload the scanned photograph (less than 200 KB).
Upload the scanned signature (less than 200 KB).

Step 4: Fee Payment

After clicking Save & Next, the fee payment page will be redirected.
Choose payment mode (Net Banking, Credit card, and Debit Card).

Step 5: Final Submission

After completing all the steps mentioned above, candidates will have to do the final submission of the GITAM GAT application form.

GITAM GAT Exam Eligibility 2021

Candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria issued by the exam conducting authority of GITAM GAT 2021 if they want to appear in the GITAM GAT exam 2021. The exam is the pathway of getting admission in more than 20 undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the GITAM University in the field of Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Arts, Science, etc.

The eligibility criteria for the GITAM GAT exam 2021 are based on the course opted by the candidates, which is issued by the GITAM.

GITAM GAT Eligibility criteria for UG courses

A candidate who wants to apply for UG courses should pass the 10+2 or equivalent in the year 2021 or 2020 in a relevant stream from a recognized board or university.
Maximum Marks Criteria are given below:
- B.Tech – 60% or 6.0 CGPA (55% in case of CBSE and ICSE)
- BA, B.Sc. Paramedical, Physiotherapy – 60%
- Management and B.Pharm – 50%
- Science – 50%
- Law – 45%
- Nursing – 45%
Students in 10+2 or awaiting board results are also eligible to apply for GITAM GAT.

GITAM GAT Eligibility criteria for PG courses

Candidate should pass the Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized university/institute.
Maximum Marks Criteria are given below:
- M.Arch – 50%
- MA – 60%
- Law – 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PwD)
- Management, Pharmacy, Science – 50%
- Nursing – 55%
Final year graduation students or those awaiting final results are also eligible to apply.

Gitam GAT Exam Pattern 2021

Gitam GAT 2021 exam is going to be conducted in computer based online home proctored mode in which students have to give the test through a computer, tablet, or mobile. For taking the Gitam GAT exam, it is necessary to have an uninterrupted internet connection and a working front camera. The time duration of the exam is of 1 hour to 2 hours that consists of 100 to 200 questions. Students will have to answer all the questions within the given time duration.

All the candidates who want to take admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the Manipal University have to go through some of the steps listed below:

Firstly, candidates have to fit the eligibility criteria issued by the exam conducting authority of the GITAM GAT Exam 2021.
Now, they have to fill the application form for GITAM GAT 2021 exam through online mode.
