About DU JAT 2021
Delhi University Joint Admission Test is a national level admission test which is conducted by the Delhi University for aspirants of Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis), and BA (Business Economics) courses in Delhi University. The DU-JAT is conducted online usually in June, so we can expect DU-JAT 2021 to be held in June 2021. The duration of the examination is 2 hours, and all questions are in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) format. There will be 4 options, to choose the answer from, for each question. DU JAT Eligibility Criteria 2021
The National Testing Agency defines the rules and criteria to be considered while granting admissions to the candidates. The essential criteria are mentioned below:
- Candidates must have a minimum qualification of Class 12 examination from any recognized board/university of India.
- Candidates must not have any backlogs in any of their previous examinations.
- There is no age limit mentioned by NTA for appearing for the examination.
- Candidates belonging to the general category are required to secure a minimum of 60% of total marks in aggregate in their class 12 examination.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC, ST, CW, and PwD are expected to attain a minimum of 55% of total marks in aggregate for their Class 12 examination.
- Candidates belonging to the OBC category are expected to secure a minimum of 54% of total marks in aggregate in their class 12 examination.
- Candidates waiting for their Class 12 examination result can also apply.
DU JAT Application Procedure 2021
Application forms will be available online in the official website. Candidates cannot, in any way, fill the form or pay in any offline mode.
The steps of the application procedure have been elaborated below:
Step 1: Creating an Account
Candidates are required to create a login ID and password with a valid email address.
Step 2: Form filling
After creating a login ID, candidates have to log back in to fill out the following details:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Address for correspondence
- Contact details
- Class 10 board exam marks
- Class 12 board exam marks
- Annual family income etc.
Step 3: Course selection
The next step involves the selection of the course that the candidate wants to pursue. The following options are given to aspirants to choose their course from:
- Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance and Investment Analysis (BBA, FIA)
- Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
- BA (H) Business Economics
Step 4: Payment of fee
Depending on the category and the number of subjects that the candidate has chosen, the application fee will vary. The payment will be solely online and candidates can pay with credit or debit cards or through the net banking process, whichever is easier.

Step 5: Final steps
The acknowledgment slip that will be generated after the candidates pay the application fee successfully, needs to be taken a print of for future purposes.

DU JAT Exam Pattern 2021
The exam is a computer-based examination with a duration of 2 hours. There are a total of 400 questions, each carrying equal marks. Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. If any question is marked twice, it will be considered wrong. However, there is no negative marking for un-attempted questions. The question paper is available in the English language only.
There are a total of four sections in which the entire question paper is divided. The sections are:
General English, Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, and Analytical Ability & Business and General Awareness.
