About BUAT 2021
The BUAT (Banda University of Agriculture and Technology) conducts its admission examination to offer students admission into the Agriculture and Horticulture courses offered in undergraduate and postgraduate programs. UPCATET Eligibility Criteria 2021
The UPCATET 2021 eligibility requirements for different BSc and BFSc courses are as mentioned below.
BSc (Honours) Agriculture/BSc (Honours) Forestry/BSc (Honours) Horticulture
Applicants must have cleared the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/Agricultural Science/Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM)/Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) subjects to meet the UPCATET eligibility criteria.
Bachelor in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc)
Applicants must have cleared the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/Agricultural Science/Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) subjects to meet the UPCATET eligibility criteria.
BSc (Honours) Home Science
Applicants must have cleared the 10+2 in the Arts stream with PCB/PCM/PCMB/Home Science/Agricultural Science subjects to be eligible for UPCATET. Only female candidates can opt for this course.
Age criteria
- Candidates should be more than 16 years and less than 22 years in age (By December 31, 2021)
- For BVSc and AH course, candidates should be minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 25 years (By December 31, 2021).
- Relaxation of age for five years has been given to the SC/ST/OBC category for any course they apply.
BUAT Exam Registration Process 2021

- Click on 'New Registration'.

BUAT Admission Process
Students must follow the following steps for BUAT Admission.
Step 1: Registration
Candidates who are interested in getting admission to the Banda University of Agriculture and Technology should visit the official website of UPCATET to register online. Aspirants will have to register by entering the details and the course they are interested in. Once the candidate has registered, he/she can proceed to fill in their information in the application form.
Step 2: Apply Online
The student must fill and submit the application form online by entering their personal as well as academic details. The form also requires uploading images such as their passport size photograph and signature. Once all the information is provided, the candidate can proceed to pay the registration fee online. After the payment is made, the student has successfully applied for UPCATET.
Step 3: Admit card
The candidate should download their admit card, which is a crucial document, and it needs to be carried to the exam centre mentioned on the hall ticket (admit card). The admit card will be made available online on the official website of UPCATET.
Step 4: Appear for UPCATET
After receiving the admit card, students have to appear for the UPCATET exam. The state-level exam is conducted offline, and students are advised to reach the exam centre well ahead of time before the entrance exam.
Step 5: Results
The results of UPCATET will be made available online in the form of a merit list. A cut-off list will also be released online. If a student meets the cut-off set by the Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, then he/she can apply to the university for admission.
Step 6: Counselling
Students who make it to the cut-off list will have to attend the counselling session and will have to book their seats. They will have to pay the first-semester fee to complete the admission procedure.

UPCATET aspirants are advised to go through the following tips on how to prepare for the UPCATET entrance test.
- The candidate needs to be well aware of the exam pattern. One should know which sections carry the greater weightage, the duration of the exam, the medium and mode of the test, the number of questions, and the marks weightage.
- Aspirants must also know the marking scheme of the UPCATET. If a student is not familiar with the exam pattern and marking scheme, it will become more difficult for them to prepare the study plan before getting down to write the exam.
- A key aspect of preparation is knowing the syllabus. Candidates are advised to go through the prescribed syllabus thoroughly. Strategize your plans on a regular basis.
