About ACLAT 2021
ACLAT and Alliance University Common Law Admission Test is a university level entrance exam conducted by Alliance University to offer admission for students in various law courses, such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLM, and Integrated Ph.D. program. The examination is held offline, and the students who are shortlisted are called for further rounds of counselling that will take place offline at the university campus. The candidate needs to understand that the selection is strictly based on the Merit Score secured by the candidate in ACLAT 2021. The students will be able to start with ACLAT 2021 Application Form process from March (will be available on the university's official website).

ACLAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must go through all the given details of eligibility criteria before applying for the ACLAT 2021 Application form process. The candidates must note that the failure to meet any of the mentioned eligibility criteria at later stages of the exam will lead to the cancellation of the aspirants’ candidature.
Age Limit
Candidates belonging to the General Category must not be greater than 20 years of age at the time of admission.
For students of the Reserved Category including ST/SC/Backward classes, a relaxation up to 2 years has been provided. They should not be greater than 22 years of age at the time of admission.
Numbers of Attempts
The number of maximum attempts has no maximum limit for ACLAT. There are no restrictions for the residence, set by the university.
Academic Qualification
Aspiring students must have passed their 10+2 examinations from any school/Institute/university as recognized under state or national board of education.
Applicants of ACLAT must have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% for the general category. Students in reserved category, such as SC/ST, must have scored at least 40% in aggregate.
ACLAT Application Process 2021
Students must adhere to the following steps to apply for ACLAT 2021 Application form process. The date for the release of application form is tentatively in January 1, 2021. The form will be made available on the university website for the applicant to download. The university grants the applicants the choice of submitting the form in online modes.
For Online Application
- Log in to the official website of ACLAT
- Click on the application link for the course, you opted for the 2021 Form.
- Enter necessary details like Date of Birth, Phone number, other personal information, email ID to complete registration
- Fill the application form providing your details as required. You need to provide details like Student's Name, Parents' details, Phone Number, Address, Course Details, Academic Qualification, Aadhar Card Number, etc.
- A scanned copy of the coloured photograph in 3.5x4.5 cm
- A scanned copy of coloured Signature 3.5x4.5 cm
- An attested class X mark sheet
- An attested class XII mark sheet
- Pay the requisite amount through net banking, debit, or credit card. Carefully read your form once and after the payment and then click on the 'submit' button.

ACLAT Application Fee 2021
Applicants can pay the application fee both offline, via Bank Challan and online, via Net Banking and Credit/Debit Card respectively. Mentioned below is the fee that the candidate has to pay to complete the application form process. Note that the fee varies depending to the category of the applicant.
Steps to pay the fee are as follows:
- The information about the fee and payment mode appears on the screen as you complete the application form.
- Click on the 'Pay Online' button that appears on the screen
- Select your payment options and pay accordingly.
- Offline mode of payment is done using a Demand Draft which will be addressed to the Alliance University and is payable in Bangalore.
- This fee payment can be made in person at the university office during the submission of the form.

ACLAT 2021 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern for ACLAT 2021 is identical for both UG and PG courses. However, there is a difference in the syllabus of the admission test for the PhD course.
- The marking scheme of ACLAT awards one mark for every correct answer.
- The candidate will lose 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
- For each question for which candidate has chosen more than one answers, instead of one, a deduction of 0.25 marks will be made.
- An unanswered question will be considered as an incorrect answer and marked accordingly.
Exam Pattern for BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLM and Integrated PhD program
- The ACLAT questions asked will be based on General Awareness, Language Proficiency, Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, Legal Aptitude, Numerical Ability.
- All the MCQs will be asked only in the English language.
- Candidates will be given 2 hours (120 minutes) to complete the entire paper.
- The test contains a total number of 200 questions accounting for 200 marks totally.
- In the online mode, the student cannot select two options for one question.
- In the offline mode, if a candidate chooses two answers for one question, it will be considered as an incorrect answer.

Exam Pattern for Ph.D. program
- The ACLAT questions asked will be based on Research Methodology, Area of Choice of Interest selected by candidate for research, Literature survey and Proposal writing, General Introduction of Research, Research and Study Design, Data Collection Techniques and Interpretation, and Research Reporting.
- All the MCQs will be asked only in the English language.
- Candidates will be given 2 hours (120 minutes) to complete the entire paper.
- The test contains a total number of 200 questions accounting for 200 marks totally.
- In the online mode, the student cannot select two options for one question.

ACLAT Syllabus 2021
The syllabus for the ACLAT 2021 is drafted as per the level of the Class 12 course. The paper is based on the top main subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for admission. ACLAT FAQs
Q1. How to use the OMR sheet properly?
A1. The examinee should not cut the OMR sheet in ACLAT 2021 or draw lines as it will lead to the cancellation of the student's paper. Candidates are advised to use a pencil to mark the answers first, and then during the final hour fill it with a pen.
Q2. How can I retrieve my ACLAT password if I don't remember it?
A2. You can click the link 'Forgot Password' to create a new password available on the candidate's login page. You will require your Application Number, date of birth, and email ID to create a new password.
Q3. How will I know about the test centre that I have been allotted?
A3. The name of the allotted test centre will be mentioned on the ACLAT 2020 admit card, along with the address.
Q4. Can the ACLAT 2020 application be cancelled and a request for a refund generated after the submission of the requisite application fees?
A4. No, candidates should note that the application fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable once the payment is made.
